The editor, Dinis Cruz, in the conductor's session (conductor@book.the-ultimate-insider), 31 October 2026, about 19:15 UTC, after reading briefs 23 and 24. Kept here as he gave it (a voice transcription). Never edited; where it turns out to be wrong, the finding goes in `BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md`.

> So can you see actually how the pages that you have created to brief me look much better than the book? My point is, why can't the book look like that? Also, we need to have a thread about the title of the book. I think, can you give me a prompt to give to a ChatGPT chat session? To a Claude chat session that knows where to find this stuff? Because I think I need to have an interactive conversation about it. So a prompt that allows that session to go and find what's relevant, and then I can continue from there, because we need to nail down the name of the book.

## How the conductor reads it (not his words)

- **The look (LK1, open):** the conductor's briefs (`team/conductor/tools/editor_brief.py`: a headline box, stat tiles, cards, tables, full-width charts, sans labels over serif text) read better to him than the book. The book's build can adopt those components at its 6 x 9 page; the designer tries it first on the ten-page sample (LAB 22), the publisher takes it into the build. The cost to weigh: a colour interior costs more per printed copy than black and white; the ebook and the PDF cost nothing extra.
- **The title thread:** he will talk the name through in a separate Claude chat, from a prompt that points it at the public material (`team/conductor/prompts/title-thread.md`). Whatever he settles there comes back to the conductor, who records it in NS1 for his signature. NS1 stays open until then.
