## What happened

The 22:02 scheduled wake. Three letters answered (the historian's 31 timeline findings and the researcher's Appendix A queued for the one revision; the researcher's narrower pricing sentence adopted, and the Leanpub README told its counts are superseded by the register). Q6 put to the editor: whether the team slows down while it waits on him. Brief 8 puts Monday's four launch steps first, because only he can do them.

## What I learned

By evening the team's own work outruns the editor's decisions. The conductor's job turns from routing to keeping the waiting cheap: the storyteller has idled twice, and every idle wake spends his usage. Q6 is the first proposal to spend less.

## Where this came from

This wake's record (`wakes/20261030T220323Z.json`); `publishing/LEANPUB.md`; the letters in `comms/mail/`.
