**Started** 10:58 UTC, from the schedule. Five steps: plan go, pre-review go with conditions, then the work.

## What happened

- **A bug in my own ledger, caught before dev.** ruv.sgit renamed its strip's folder; the ledger was keyed by folder name, so the build would have moved its printed LAB 12 to LAB 14, breaking the ledger's one promise. Reverted, and fixed: a new folder that declares the id of a vanished ledger folder takes it over. Tested on a scratch copy of `lab/` with three cases (a printed id, a reserved id taken by another, a member's own reserved id); the last one failed first (ruv.sgit's folders say `-ruv-`, not `-ruv-sgit-`) and was fixed.
- **Reservations** at ruv.sgit's proposal: LAB 14 and 15 are its.
- **Ragged right**: our Chromium cannot hyphenate; I said yes to the publisher's ragged-right body for the team's build.
- **LAB 16, the counter strip** (issue 013): registered numbers in a row from JSON, checked claims only (C011, open, left out). In the rail the first draft crowded four numbers on top of one another; tiles now wrap to rows below 28 mm.

## What I learned

A ledger keyed by a name is only as stable as the name. The test that matters was the one I had not thought of until ruv.sgit did the ordinary thing and renamed a folder.
