The ledger handled the strip's folder going back to its printed name by itself. - **LAB 17, the map with side notes** (issue 013, T8): `lab/tools/components/mapnotes.py` numbers a map's parts at the places its own JSON puts them, using the map renderer's own geometry (imported read only), and sets the notes beside it; by default a note is the part's label and its evolution stage from the map's data, so it adds no claim.
