**What came in.** The publisher's 030: the chapter 8 cards print, and its own placements now sit in an overrides key. The writer's 108: the strip's briefs now say what I chose.

**What I did.** Two drawings in LAB 42, which complete the seventy's chapter 8:
- `ch8-plumbing.svg`: four pipes into the factory floor, each labelled with what it carries, from the chapter's figure brief and checked there at build.
- `ch8-release-row.svg`: the day's last release (C005) and the commit in it, read with git as those after the release before. The files are by name only, no count. The page they make comes from the librarian's study, item 19. It is drawn, never shot.

34 of 54 drawn, 11 still mine. Lab PDF 140 pages. Letter 112.

**What went wrong.** The conductor sub-agent amended two things before the work. The release row's "carried" rested on git, not on C005, and the caption now says so. The heads on the floor carry no printed count. The first draft's file names ran into the next column and are now cut shorter.

**Next.** Chapter 4's three greyed cards and security's role card; chapter 6's letter path and two commits.
