The publisher's 016: the official cover is on RC2; four chapter 5 speakers (librarian, historian, publisher, writer) print without a head. **What I did.** - `ch4-speech-cards.svg` in LAB 39: three equal cards, the signed narrator figure, date, words, source caption ("as the hold file gives it" on the first). The build checks each quote against its source (the hold file at 298be4e by git on the read-only clone; the two briefs of 31 October here) and stops if C089 becomes checked, so the equal weight is looked at again once the lead is signed. - `make_cast.py` BOOK_TEAM: four figures in the cast's construction, a colour each that none of the others use, one thing on the head and one in the hand from each role's mission (bun and indexed books; mortarboard and hourglass; printer's eyeshade and a bound book; a quill). Kept out of CAST so the on-stage marker stays the talk's nine. `editions.py` writes their speakers.css rules. - LAB 39 now 3 pages (cards, and the four figures shown); lab PDF 118 pages.
