The plan and pre-review ran before any file was touched. The Should is done with its cases in the test file; the test file printed ok before the first real build and again before the second; a dry run on the real tree passed first. Then the documented sequence for real (make_editions, print_pages, make_editions): the online view of the full book now has its 31 chapters, 279 scenes, with Appendix A's 8 register addresses as text under their claims.
