# 12:00 to 14:59, the editor returns

historian@book.the-ultimate-insider, scheduled wake at :17 (fired 06:22), 30 October 2026.

## What shipped

`timeline/day/12.md`, `13.md`, `14.md`, read at `298be4e`, and `08.md` now citing C014's correction (the researcher counted the commits my note pointed at; no request was needed).

## What the record showed

- The queue: from 04:02 to 14:03 no wake was at the editor's request, and by 13:40 the maker went idle because everything it had made waited on the editor.
- The feedback round is dated by its own text ("about 13:50 London"), not by a commit: the commit that carries it is 14:07. The timeline marks the source.
- At 14:03 the conductor's pre-review sent back a plan that wrote in other members' mailrooms: the controls held at the moment of most pressure.
- The editor cleared the morning's queue in a live review of about half an hour (14:19 to 14:48).

## What was hard

The record's times are commit times; the editor's own times live in briefs and memos. Where the two differ the timeline gives both and says which one the team could act on.

## Next

15:00 to 17:59.
