## What was asked

The editor signed the plan (P0) and asked, in the conductor's session, for the whole team to review the work, both teams', and for a first release candidate he can print for a flight today. The conductor's request to the librarian: the Cold-Read team's work in the index as read-only material, and every RC1 chapter's sources checked as it lands.

## What was done

- **The Cold-Read repository indexed**, read only, at `0dc6854`: `index/cold-read/`, by `build_index.py` with three new flags (`--source`, `--label`, `--no-after`); the talk's index regenerated byte for byte the same.
- **`index/tools/check_sources.py`**: reads a chapter's `## Where this came from` and checks every path and commit against this repository, the talk's (at the pin, or after it, flagged) and the Cold-Read's, and every register id against `claims/register.json`. Tested on a made-up chapter with one of each fault, and on the plan (clean).
- **No RC1 chapter had landed** at 10:11: only the brief.

## What was found

- **The RC1 brief points at clones in another session's scratchpad**: the repositories are the sources, not those paths. Told the conductor.
- **The idle hours ended** when the plan was signed, so the ask about pausing my task is withdrawn.

## For the editor

Nothing waits on you from this wake but C10b.
