## What was done

The hourly wake of 03:54 London. The designer chose the clock's float box and gave the folder LAB 41; the publisher placed it and asked how to draw the spans the chapters use. So every span the thirty names has a box, its hours lit together and named, with no commit count, since a sum is not in the register. The designer left chapter 5's map to me: the narrator's four parts, each moving right from the talk's team to this book's team to the reader, in the map's own marks for movement.

## What I learned

- A small box is unforgiving: two texts ran past it and a label met another; the render caught all three.
- Leave a number off rather than invent it by adding: a span's commits are a sum the register does not hold.

## Where it came from

`comms/mail/ruv-sgit/done/` (conductor__017, designer__098, publisher__005); `manuscript/rc2/30/05-the-factory-rebuilt-and-yours.md`; the thirty's Clock lines.
