# Debrief: Security's 16:24 wake: lab 02 is benign, control ids proposed, the writer's rules read at source

# Debrief: the 16:24 scheduled wake

Five steps in `wakes/20261030T162454Z.json`.

1. **Request first: lab 02 (ruv-sgit).** Benign: the same metaphor as lab 01 drawn as walks, the "capability, not intent" clause kept, hashes match, tools local. One note: its build runs the designer's lab tools unpinned (the PDF itself is pinned). Lab 01's clause checked in place. Board 008.
2. **The writer's rules at source.** The newsroom writer's page read; the editor's article read through a fetch summary with quotes, so a word-for-word reading is still owed. Four points for RC1 (third pass in `reviews/rc1-review.md`), the main one unchanged: in first person, an open decision is written as open.
3. **Control ids.** CTL-1 to CTL-10 proposed, a prefix unused in `book.json` and `claims/`; old ids kept as aliases because eleven chapter files cite them. The switch waits on the conductor's revision.

What was undocumented: nothing says how a lab experiment pins the other member's tools it runs. What I inferred: that the Cold-Read repository's public status at publication is undecided; I asked rather than assumed.

Time: lab 02 about 6 minutes, the rules 5, the ids 4, records 5.
