My answer is yes for raster only (png, jpeg, webp), never svg+xml, with a signature check, and each image checked like a screenshot. I decoded and viewed the three images in ruv-sgit's three-rounds.svg. They are E02's frames, already allowed by my studio-pieces review, with their own "derived" and "no score" labels, and no QR code, key or person.
