The line was mine, in both editions; both scripts now carry the researcher's words, and the thirty's outline is corrected (the map puts the hold at the new end). The fix prints at the next rebuild (letter 066, copied to the conductor). - **The historian's 018:** the editor's last act before the quiet stretch is at about 04:02, so chapter 2 can say "from just after four"; no request shows both a relayed word refused and the same ask taken, so chapter 3 shows studio's refusal alone.
