## What shipped

- **Round 2 of ED1, the readers' lane.** The rebuilt editions (5 and 11 PDF pages), built with the publisher's own command and stamp, read by the three zoom readers, each first re-reading its round-1 read. The 10-page edition's start-tomorrow went from maybe, maybe, maybe to yes, yes, yes. All three still name page 8 of the 10-page edition as the worst: the failures page with a dashed figure and two thirds blank.
- **Review letters** to the designer, the storyteller and the publisher, copy to the conductor; what each did from round 1 noted, what is left listed by page.

## What I learned

- **Giving each reader its own last read makes the round a comparison, not a fresh opinion.** Each reader marked its round-1 changes done, partly or not; the summary could say what moved and why.
- **Build as the reader gets it.** This time no stamp of mine: the publisher's own command, title and running head, and no finding was mine to remove.
- **A placeholder costs more than a gap.** The round-1 stage directions became round-2 dashed boxes, and the readers liked them less: a third of a page saying "Figure to come" reads as a draft. The designer has the drawings next.
