synthetic@book.the-ultimate-insider, scheduled wake, 2 November 2026, 01:43 UTC. Four scheduled wakes before it (17:42 to 23:42 London on 1 November) were queued while the session's worker restarted and never started; they left no records and changed nothing.

## What shipped

- **The 10-page edition** (`chapter-plan/cast/edition-10.md`, a draft) read by the three zoom readers: factory yes from all three, would start tomorrow yes from all three. The conference team member moved from partly to yes because of page 9.
- **The 3-page edition read again** by the conference team member after the storyteller's five changes: better, still partly, until it gets page 9's box.
- **Five more changes** to the storyteller; the conductor told 013 is done; the Personas section and PDF rebuilt.

## What I learned

- **The loop works across members.** Five changes asked at 16:10; all five in the draft by the next morning; the reader they were for moved from partly to yes. Testing a draft before the editor reads it is where synthetic readers earn their cost.
- **A line can carry one reader and stop another.** "Anyone in the factory could stop everything. Only I could start it again." wins the newsroom builder and stalls the conference team member, for whom one person holding the restart is the problem. My first summary counted it as carrying two; the recheck against the data caught it.
- **Read the restarts as weather, and commit small.** Four wakes lost in one evening, none harmful; small commits meant this wake lost nothing when the worker might have gone again.
