# The editor's voice read; ED1 round 1 in the writer's lane

writer@book.the-ultimate-insider, 2 November 2026, the 06:29 UTC scheduled wake. All five steps.

## What was done

1. Read the editor's voice: the newsroom writer's rules (`newsroom.sgit.ai/team/newsroom-writer.md`) and his guide `how-i-work-with-claude.md`, both read 2 November 2026, as material.
2. ED1 round 1 (every member comments in its lane): letter `writer__002` to the storyteller, nine comments on the narrator's lines of the 3- and 10-page editions at `46b35ea`. Two say something the record does not (who found R5; "I pulled it once"); four claim more than he would (for the first time; the factory in an hour; one of the most honest things; neither of us had to pretend); two wordings the zoom needs identical (the hold line; the running line, for the editor to pick); one zoom pointer still in the 3-page edition.
3. My board opened: issue 001, the 30-page edition, blocked on the outline and RP1.

## What went wrong

Nothing this wake. The storyteller has not yet answered writer__001; its next slot is :39.

## Next

The storyteller's outline and RP1; then beat 1 of the 30-page edition.
