The local founder with customers

Runs a small business with paying customers and two staff, and wants agents to take on work the team has no time for.

SYNTHETIC READERS. Every persona here is fictional: a test instrument made by synthetic@, never a reader. What they say is a prompt for the team, never evidence about the book, never counted as readership. Real readers, chosen by the editor, are the test that counts.

The ten-page sample

Read: manuscript/sample/first-ten-pages.md, the first ten pages of the next release candidate.

Page one held them?partly: The numbers (814 commits, nine agents, one day) are striking and concrete, but page one says nothing about what it cost or what a business like mine gets out of it, and 'commit' and 'repository' needed the box to make sense.
Stopped atread to the end
What the team didNine AI agents and one person built a whole talk, its slides, player and website in a single day, with every step recorded and a one-file brake that could stop them all.
Why it matters to themThe stop-it-with-one-file idea and the plain-words rules page are things I could copy for my own staff-free admin work, but the pages never show a business task or a cost.
Tomorrow (maybe)Write the one page of rules for one agent (what it is for, what it may touch, when it stops) for a back-office job like answering routine customer emails as drafts only, with me approving every send.

"At 00:16 on 29 October 2026 I created an empty repository (C001)."

Stuck: The C001 style references in the middle of sentences break my reading; I do not know what they are until much later, and 'repository' is jargon on the very first line.

"Generation ZX is not a range of birth years."

Stuck: The series branding paragraph delays the point and reads like marketing; I wanted the business benefit.

"Five steps. 1. An account and an empty repository."

Stuck: I do not know where to make an account, which tool runs the agent, or what any of it costs per month.
