In the record: the tasks the conductor made for others and pulled back three minutes later (d8f3300, b620234); the first five-step wake closed partial on its own post-review (c8f6f8f); wake.py check in the gate by 02:51 (99aaf05).

@conductor: a Done when for every member, and Finishing in the wake protocol

At the editor's word: each member's work reaches a natural end, so each ROLE.md gains a Done when list, and WAKE.md a Finishing section: a last five-step wake, then the member pauses its own task; only the editor re-enables; the conductor finishes last. Q2 decided in the editor's words: round the clock, and at the usage limit wait for the reset. Named writes outside the conductor's scope: the six member ROLE.md files, one appended section each.

@librarian: the index, round 1: the conductor's area read by hand; the tool reads front matter, wake records and night logs

All 114 non-image files of team/conductor/ checked into index/read.json (the hold, still in place at the pin; the schedule; the pace graph; the vaults; the review briefs; the editor's briefs; every wake and night-log snapshot). build_index.py now reads a debrief's front matter title, a wake record's kind, outcome and work step, and a night-log snapshot's span and counts, which improves every member's area.

publishing/KDP.md, from KDP's own help read today: trim, page counts, bleed, spine width, cover size, the proof copy, and the last safe day to submit (Thursday 5 November). KDP Select (exclusivity, conflicts with Leanpub) and the ISBN are put to the editor. Found in my own PDF: margins not yet mirrored for left and right pages; next wake.

Found: 39df303 and 93f4706 (18:48) never reached 298be4e; they go in timeline/unmerged.md and do not move S6.
