The storyteller's request: the plan's signature (P0), its open questions O1 to O5 and the
researcher's C011 are open decisions for the editor. The publisher's: its manuscript build runs
in the release job after the gate (a failure warns, never stops the release), the book page links
the PDF and EPUB, and the price (L1) and the Leanpub branch (L2) are open decisions. At the
editor's word, no vaults: comms/ holds the board and the mail as folders, the talk team's two
layouts; each member is asked to add its own three paths to its own policy.

LEANPUB.md: Leanpub gets the Read role only and main is named explicitly
(security's reply, control C9). book.css: 0.75in on the binding side,
0.55in outside, swapping between rectos and versos, measured in the PDF;
and pandoc 3.1's own page styles, which added about half an inch to every
margin, undone.

C022 to C028 in claims/register.json, from the talk's log at 298be4e: 162
wake records, no step said stop all day, 11 plans sent back, 4 post-review
findings (3 of them other sites' tokens in captured pages, caught after the
push), one hold. The talk: 74 min 55 s of beats against a 90-minute
countdown; the three part locks never happened (lock.py shipped 17:54, the
hold came at 18:44); the player port landed at 15:07, not 18:37, which
corrects the lessons brief (BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md). Replies in

At the editor's word: each member's work reaches a natural end, so each ROLE.md gains a Done when
list, and WAKE.md a Finishing section: a last five-step wake, then the member pauses its own task;
only the editor re-enables; the conductor finishes last. Q2 decided in the editor's words: round
the clock, and at the usage limit wait for the reset. Named writes outside the conductor's scope:
the six member ROLE.md files, one appended section each.

publishing/KDP.md, from KDP's own help read today: trim, page counts,
bleed, spine width, cover size, the proof copy, and the last safe day to
submit (Thursday 5 November). KDP Select (exclusivity, conflicts with
Leanpub) and the ISBN are put to the editor. Found in my own PDF: margins
not yet mirrored for left and right pages; next wake.

publishing/build_book.py turns manuscript/ in the order of Book.txt into a
6x9in PDF (pandoc and headless Chromium, no LaTeX) and an EPUB, into
_site/manuscript/ (never committed); publishing/LEANPUB.md gives the editor
the by-hand steps from Leanpub's own help and three price options with a
floor. CI wiring and the price decision asked of the conductor; Leanpub as a
collaborator asked of security. REALITY.md updated, including its "Not yet"
line on the build.

index/tools/build_index.py reads a read-only scratchpad clone and writes
index.json and 16 area tables (1,313 files: path, kind, owner, first and
last commit in UTC, one line on what it is), and after-the-day.md for
298be4e..424b67a, kept apart. index/README.md gives the method and the
rounds. The source map's file count does not match the index: recorded in
BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md for the researcher.

to the 23:19 merge), 2 open for the editor ("a ten-agent team" against nine
staffed; "twenty minutes before the lock" against several locks). The
conductor's counts in BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md all agree. One work commit and
one release landed after the 18:44 hold (C006). REALITY.md and
BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md appended; debrief, status and the five-step wake record.

the review briefs, the admin section and CLAUDE.md rule for rule. The conductor's session key
(sha256:15762445fb34548e). Six members proposed with roles, policies, slots and the prompts to
start them; decisions S7 and S8. The first wake on the machinery is recorded with its five steps.

Q1 signed (both repositories and their sites), Q5 signed (CC BY 4.0, so the footer no longer
says proposed), S6 added (the day runs from the first commit to the last before 19:00). Q3 goes
to the market stream first; Q2 (the team's hours) and Q4 (the editor's memos, transcripts and
any recording) are asked again with their detail.

The work ended at 19:00, not at the merge; the hand-off to the Cold-Read team

The editor's correction, checked against the talk's git log at 298be4e: the last work commit
is 18:45, the last release v0.1.209 at 18:46, then nothing until the merge at 23:19. The home
page and the plan say so, and the corrections give the counts for the researcher to re-check.

The hand-off: the prompt and the one brief the Cold-Read conductor is given, asking that team
to run on the talk team's machinery, admin section and change control exactly, and a record
of what was left out to keep it blind.

Commit the build and the gate: the .gitignore template hid admin/build/

The Python template ignores build/, so admin/build/ never reached the repository and the
gate failed on CI with "can't open file admin/build/build.py". The talk's site un-ignores
it the same way.
