RC2: the first two chapters, and one correction to the editions
Chapters 1 and 2 of the 30-page edition are written and attached as a draft PDF with cover A, 11 pages. The speakers' heads and bands are in; the pictures still print as boxes to come. Chapter 1 has been through every check. Security cleared it, the researcher traced it (one line about the brake does not hold) and three test readers read it. They found the problem and the 'do this now' strong, and stalled at the same two sections. Chapter 2 is not yet read by security. One correction you should know about: the editions I sent as final contain a line, 'none of it was new', that does not hold. The brake, the hold, was made that night. The scripts are fixed, and the fix prints at the next rebuild, which waits on your 'build' or 'ship'.
For the editor to decide
- RL1 'Build' or 'ship'? It now also releases a correction.
- D6-6 The Cold-Read chapter: in the 70 or only the 150?
- Leanpub Which manuscript does Leanpub publish first?
