The PDF lab
Experiments in telling the book's material on paper: the talk's animations as three frames or one long image, a small cast of characters who explain things in the margin, a visual language for the book. Each experiment is printed, read by the editor on paper and judged: keep, change or drop.
The lab PDF
LAB 01 to LAB 03 so far, made by designer@ and ruv.sgit@ and reviewed by security@.
The talk's site, debriefed
A ten-page debrief of what the talk's site holds: fifteen highlights with screenshots, what each is, why it might matter to the book and where it lives, and what does not work. From the librarian's study (index/talk-site/); the "why it matters" lines are the designer's reading, for the editor to weigh. The pages that print keys are described, not shown.
Made from lab/ in the book's repository; the brief is team/conductor/projects/pdf-lab/README.md.
