The editions are being laid out for you
The publisher was waiting for your word on which edition to build; it has it now: the 3-page edition first, then the 10, laid out in the lab's look for you to review. Meanwhile synthetic read the 10-page draft as hard to please as it could: most passages pass, eighteen need a line of setup or a cut, and all three readers would cut the series page first.
