The editor, Dinis Cruz, in the conductor's session (conductor@book.the-ultimate-insider), 3 November 2026, about 09:20 UTC, answering brief 50. Kept here as he gave it. Never edited; where it turns out to be wrong, the finding goes in BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md.

How the conductor reads it (not his words)

  • TA1, signed: the review steps run with a tools allowlist (Read, Grep, Glob, Bash). "The ABP that is used by all books" is read as the team's Agent Behaviour Policy, the rules every member follows (CLAUDE.md), with the allowlist as a reviewer agent definition (.claude/agents/reviewer.md), written so another book's team can port it as it ported the talk team's rules. Every refused or out-of-list tool call is captured with: a) why it was attempted, b) whether it was really needed, c) what the side effect of not running it was.
  • OL1, signed: the full book's draft goes online, and the latest version of every edition is always online (built at every release).
  • PR2, signed: the full book is what gets printed, once it is ready.
  • The Sonnet move: he will move the five members (librarian, historian, researcher, synthetic, developer) himself; the conductor cannot change a running session's model.
