"Do this now" as a card; no "Where this came from" in the printed book
The editor, Dinis Cruz, in the conductor's session (conductor@book.the-ultimate-insider), about 01:43 UTC on 4 November 2026, with a screenshot of page 7 (the end of chapter 1: the building's three frames, a band, "Do this now", "Where this came from"). A voice transcription, kept as given. Never edited; where it turns out to be wrong, the finding goes in BRIEF-CORRECTIONS.md.
So in this section, I like to do these now, but you probably want to explain a bit the objective, but also you need to make it visible, right? So that literally needs a nice little, you know, sort of infographic section, card, something, right, to do that. Also, I really don't think that where these come from is relevant to this, because, you know, imagine reading a book and go, well, this came from that voice memo. Of course, like, most of this stuff came from voice memos, right? So I don't think that's relevant at all. We'll look at this later when we have the augmentation conversation and we look at creating the augmented version of the book.
How the conductor reads it (not his words)
- "Do this now" stays, says what it is for, and becomes a visual card (an infographic section) in every chapter that has one (23 in the full book): the designer draws it, the publisher places it, the writer sharpens each one's objective, the storyteller sets it as the convention.
- WC1: no "Where this came from" in the printed and full book. The sources stay in the repository as record lines the build drops, so every number stays traced (the register is unchanged), for the augmented edition he will discuss later. For now the publisher drops the section in the print and full-book build only; the chapter files change only after the librarian's checking tools read the record lines.
- For the printed book this takes precedence over the brief's rule "Every chapter ends with where it came from" (CLAUDE.md, the book's own rules; also in the storyteller's and writer's ROLE.md). Those texts are not rewritten tonight; a wording is proposed to him.
