RC1 grows, maps, the plumbing, concepts, a cover, and the companion

30 October 2026, 10:31 to about 11:35 UTC, in the conductor's session at the editor's word.

What happened

  • The editor's principles (about 10:30) became a brief, then roles run in this session: the Gen ZX team's review of RC1, a dossier on the two and a half years before the day, sixteen Wardley maps from simple to complex.
  • His second request (about 10:45): a cover (three concepts, concept 1 used), a first pass of thirty infographics and fifty call-outs, and a companion PDF with questions, comments and decisions from each role: 98 cards, 53 decisions, each matched to its RC1 page.
  • New chapters: 00b (how to read a map), 11b (what was already there), 13 (concepts and principles).
  • A corrections pass fixed what the reviews found, first the leak account: values reached a pushed, public history each time; the book now says so without pointing to them.
  • RC1 (294 pages, 6x9) and the companion (67 pages, A4) were built and sent to the editor for the flight.
  • At his word (usage at 94%), every scheduled task was paused, the Cold-Read conductor's and the @inbox run included. An interrupt of the publisher's running turn was refused by the session's permissions; he can stop it in the app.

What went wrong

  • RC1 had been pushed with the kinder leak account; the reviews caught it within the hour.
  • The build script first read a stale PDF (wrong output folder); caught by a page count.
  • Two infographics went stale after the corrections and are withdrawn until the second design round.

Next

  • The editor's ticks in the companion become open decisions in book.json.
  • The researcher registers the new numbers (letter 006); the publisher moves RC1 into manuscript/ with Markua, the image fixes and the call-out style.
  • Every task stays paused until the editor re-enables it.
