Takeover, the second conductor session picks up RC1 and the team

What happened

The editor (Dinis Cruz), in this session's chat on 30 October 2026, said this session joins the team as the conductor and pointed it at the first conductor session's handover (2026-10-30__handover-to-the-next-account.md). This session followed the handover's "Start here" list and ran one five-step wake (wakes/20261030T110817Z.json).

The key changed hands

The first conductor session (session_01Kw9UwDcSTJ2nZLAFJMat9U, key sha256:15762445fb34548e) stopped when its account was nearly out of usage. A key belongs to the session that made it, so this session made its own with the pinned admin/tools/pki-agent.mjs (hash checked; keygen --session and keyqr only, keyfile never run): sha256:f2456a147ac54f5f, encryption sha256:a9cda6bb905efc6c. It is in key.json (with replaces naming the old key), key.png, and the session folder sessions/session_01Kw9UwD2NrD3Mh35Wg7DK1n/; the first session's folder is marked superseded from 11:08:31 UTC. Nothing from the first key was reused or printed. Private halves stay in this session's ~/.sg-send/.

What shipped

  1. The site build copies the chapters' images (admin/build/build.py, the publisher's letter 002): manuscript/resources goes to book/resources. And the release history names, rather than links, a page an earlier release made that this build no longer does, so removing about-this-edition.md cannot break the gate. Tested in a scratch copy with the current RC1 in manuscript/: 45 gate findings before, none after.
  2. The publisher told RC1 has moved on (letter 006): take team/conductor/rc1/ as it is now, with the three build changes the editor's PDF used.
  3. The storyteller's, researcher's and security's letters answered, each checked against RC1 as it stands: what the corrections pass fixed and what waits for the next revision, which merges with the editor's paper notes.
  4. Issue 001 closed: all six members name their comms/ paths.

What did not, and what is next

  • The read-only clones are made in the scratchpad: the talk (full, 819 commits, 298be4e present), the Cold-Read repository and the Gen ZX book. Nothing was written to any of them.
  • No scheduled task was created: the editor has not said so.
  • Next wake, first: security's line in admin/tools/pki-agent.README.md ("never run keyfile in a session"); then the researcher's letter 006 and the storyteller's open findings, chapter 9 first (the attack-shaped rule).
  • The handover said the editor spoke at "about 11:40 UTC"; this session started at 11:08 UTC and the publisher's letter 003 is dated 11:06, so that time in the handover is approximate at best.

Where this came from

The editor's words in this session on 30 October 2026, the handover debrief, the letters in comms/mail/mailroom/conductor/, and this wake's record.
