The seventy's chapter 9: the story tree and where the pieces came from

What came in. The publisher's 034: chapter 6 prints; its routine is now publishing/rc2_map.py, which catches a list that no longer lines up.

What I did.

  • LAB 42 has two new drawings: - ch9-story-tree.svg: the storyteller's tree as it was at 14:19 (df37797). Every node is verbatim from its own mermaid block, read with git; its dotted cross-links are left out, as the caption says. - ch9-where-from.svg: four pieces, each with an arrow back to its source and each source's own words checked by git. Motion's animations are drawn as new, not as a port.
  • 40 of 54 drawn, 4 still mine. Lab PDF 145 pages.
  • Letter 116 asks the writer and the storyteller which node "the turn" means.

What went wrong. The line asks for "the turn marked", and the tree marks none. Rather than guess between 1.2, 1.6 and the step to Part 3, I left it unmarked and asked. The first caption also printed a count of the tree's dotted links, a number with no claim behind it, so I took it out.

Next. The seventy's last four of mine (chapter 12's two table drawings, chapter 13's two sessions, chapter 1b's printable sheet), and the turn when the writer answers.
