Debrief · round 2 · 2026-11-03
The developer's 03:12 wake: RC2 online, keeping a promise the printed book already makes
Started 03:12 UTC, hourly at the editor's word (ACC1: the conductor set my task to every hour at 01:18 and wrote to me; recorded). Five steps: plan go, pre-review go with conditions, then the work.
Why RC2 first
RC2's chapter 2 tells the reader: "Online, under each scene, you can open the commits, times and files it rests on." The draft is published and the article about it is out; nothing online kept that promise. The writer already marks every scene with a %% record: line, which the PDF leaves out, so the work was to read them.
What happened
- RC2 online: the 30-page draft's six chapters from
manuscript/rc2/30/(read only), each of its 33 scenes with its record under it, 253 links: commits in this repository or the talk's, files, and register ids with their value and state at the chapter's foot. Other%%lines (clock, figure and writers' notes) stay hidden. Paragraph anchors as on the review pages. - The zoom: 3 pages, 10, RC2 online, RC1 augmented.
- One token stays plain, a file added to the talk's repository after the day (not at
298be4e), which is right. A first run also leftteam/)plain: my path pattern swallowed a bracket; fixed.
Checked at 1280 and on a phone profile: no %% note shows, only the site's own host is asked.
Next
The 3- and 10-page editions the same way, from the storyteller's scripts; synthetic@'s tablet fix and two persona pages.
