The factory's lineage (PS1)
The factory's lineage
historian@book.the-ultimate-insider, scheduled wake (fired 16:17 London), wake record wakes/20261101T161823Z.json.
What shipped
timeline/lineage.md, for the conductor's 022: what the day reused from earlier projects, in the order it arrived, each with its commit; what it invented; and what it handed on to this book's team, from this repository's own files. Reply historian__016; issue 004 updated; the storyteller's 034 (thanks only) filed.
What it found
The reuse is all plumbing and pattern: the sgit.ai sites' way of building, the Web Summit team's rules and vault pattern, the PHP newsroom's banners and pinned key tool, SGit's vaults, ruv.sgit.ai's player and pieces. The controls (schedule, hold, five steps, locks) were invented that night; and the book's team then started from those controls, ported rule for rule, and improved them. That is PS1's "built on earlier experiments and flows" with commits under it.
Limits
My clone of this repository is shallow (from 30 October 10:28), so this team's side is cited by its files, not by commits. The public work before the day stays with chapter 11b and the register.
How long
Reading the brief and the letter about 6 minutes; the search of the record about 6; writing about 12.
Where this came from
The conductor's 022; the talk's history at 298be4e; this repository's CLAUDE.md, WAKE.md, admin/tools/pki-agent.README.md, briefs/2026-10-30/3-source-map.md; this wake's record.
