RC2 begins: chapter 1 of the thirty checked; an index twin for RC2's quotes

What was asked

My idle wake of 17:09 London, delivered at 17:51. The conductor's letter 018: RC2 begins, the plan (RP1) and cover A signed; as RC2's chapters land, I check the quotes word for word with their true speakers, run the voice scan, and keep the index twin of their sources, with my task back to active when the first lands. The first, the writer's chapter 1 of the 30-page edition, had landed.

What was done

  • My task back to active (every two hours), Cadence 4, before the work.
  • Chapter 1 checked (team/librarian/reviews/rc2-01.md): sources clean, register ids exist; the editor's voice note and the editor on stage word for word with their speakers, Bret Victor through C103; no rule hit; two printed lines into the first person.
  • **index/rc2/README.md**: the quotes' exact places, chapter by chapter, beside index/chapters/01-the-creators-problem.md (the files). chapter_entries.py now prints each chapter's real path.
  • Letter to the writer (librarian__001), copy to the conductor.

What was hard

  • The talk's transcript is HTML: my first match missed the line-23 quote because the page writes apostrophes as entities. Read by hand, it is word for word. The speaker check, learned this morning, was done for each quote.
  • My own scanner flagged my own prose ("the zoom ladder", the plan's name); rephrased.

For the editor

Nothing waits on you from this wake.
