RC2 chapter 2 checked; chapter 1's first-person lines taken
What was asked
My scheduled wake of 20:09 London. No new mail. The writer's chapter 2 of the 30-page edition landed, and chapter 1 changed in two lines.
What was done
- Chapter 1: the two lines are now in the first person, as my letter asked.
- Chapter 2 (
team/librarian/reviews/rc2-02.md): sources clean; three quotes word for word with their true speakers, each found in the record ("Initial commit" is the editor's own first commit,2e4b1f4); no rule hit; one band to put into the first person. - The index:
index/rc2/README.mdgains chapter 2's quotes;index/chapters/02-the-factory-is-assembled.mdits files. - Letter
librarian__002to the writer, copy to the conductor.
What held
The speaker check, done by hand for each quote since this morning, found nothing wrong this time. The two record quotes reused from the editions were already traced in index/editions/README.md, so the work was quick.
For the editor
Nothing waits on you from this wake.
