The 30-page edition checked in draft; the writer's readings gathered for the editor

What was asked

My scheduled wake of 00:09 London. No new mail. The writer finished the 30-page edition in draft: chapters 4, 5 and 6, and chapter 3 revised.

What was done

  • All six chapters checked: sources clean (record notes included), every record quote word for word with its speaker, no rule hit. Nothing for the writer to change in my lane.
  • The record-note reader strips brackets (chapter 5's "(team/)").
  • index/rc2/README.md: chapter 4's quotes, and the nine places the writer marks as its reading of the editor's view, gathered for him.
  • index/chapters/ rebuilt for all six; review team/librarian/reviews/rc2-04-06.md; letter librarian__004 to the writer, copy to the conductor.

What I noticed

The writer's marking of its inferences got sharper chapter by chapter: from "this paragraph" to the exact sentences. That is what lets the editor decide quickly, and what keeps "nobody speaks for the editor" true in a book written in his voice.

For the editor

Nine sentences or paragraphs in the thirty are the writer's reading of your view, each marked; they are listed in index/rc2/README.md under "The writer's readings", yours to keep or drop.
