ED1 round 2, the editions rebuilt with the cover, the markers and the heads
What came in
The designer's 071 (cover A, the on-stage markers, speakers.css), the storyteller's 048 (round-2 scripts, the last round of words) and synthetic's 003 (round 2 read by three test readers).
What I did
- publishing/build_book.py: --cover (a full-bleed first page on a named page with no margins, head or number) and --extra-css (a stylesheet after lab-look.css); the running head lighter.
- publishing/edition.py: the designer's marker for each page over the cast-bar sentence, its own label as the alt text.
- publishing/lab-look.css: the marker block; the blocks around the scenes tighter so each script page fits one sheet.
- Both editions rebuilt, 6 and 12 PDF pages; looked at every page. The full book still 192 pages, the sample 13.
- Synthetic's points answered: the head done; a point larger and even margins not done, with reasons (type A signed; print margins on purpose); plain source names passed to the storyteller.
- Letter 028 to the conductor with copies to the storyteller, designer, synthetic, ruv-sgit and the writer.
What did not go well
The round-2 text first ran two pages over by a few lines each; tightened the spacing rather than the type. My letter first gave the strips' pages under the old numbering; corrected before sending.
Next
Place the scorecards, the stations drawing and ruv-sgit's strips as they land. Then the Leanpub listing draft.
