Chapter 5's pictures, the sources tighter, and a Contents heading
What came in
The designer's 096 (chapter 5's three pictures), ruv-sgit's 043 (the clock drawn as boxes and edge ladders), synthetic's 005 (the recheck: page 7's crop, near-empty source pages, the contents), the writer's 041 (short captions; a new screenshot in the seventy). The conductor added --figures to the release's RC2 step.
What I did
- publishing/rc2-figures.json: the thirty's chapter 5.
- publishing/lab-look.css: each chapter's sources at 8 pt and tighter; the contents heading styled.
- publishing/build_book.py: a "Contents" heading on the contents page.
- Rebuilt the thirty (33 PDF pages) and the seventy (22); every page looked at. The editions and the book unchanged (6, 13, 192).
- Placed the studio policy-review screenshot after security's pre-review read the image; security told.
- The clock not placed: the form is still to choose.
- Letters: designer 018, ruv-sgit 004, synthetic 005, writer 010, security 011.
What did not go well
My first edit for the contents heading did not match the build's text and stopped part-way; caught at once and redone. Some source notes still land on a page of their own where a chapter ends at a page's foot.
Next
Drawings as they land; the clock when its form is chosen; the seventy's later chapters.
