FB1: the full book's own layout, its sources out of print, and the upload set
What came in
Eleven letters. The conductor's 069 (measure, spacing, flow), 070 (FB1: the full book only, print files by Thursday), 071 (the upload set now), 072 (WC1: the sources out of print); the designer's 122 and 123; the developer's 032 (a page check); the librarian's 001 and security's 013 (the book's front page shot, cleared by name); ruv-sgit's 063; the writer's 167 (93 ready).
What I did
- build_book.py reads build lines in a list ("#!"): drop-section and extra-css, the stylesheet only from under publishing/, by realpath. So the release follows the full book's list unchanged.
- publishing/full-book.css: the measure 6.09 in; more space; a band closes its scene; figure, "Do this now" and list items kept with what comes before; title raised.
- 93 in between 91 and 94; 92 waits for the researcher.
- Page fill measured by my own scan (the developer's tool writes into review/): tails alone from 9 to 3.
- The upload set built from today's dev and sent to the editor in my session: the interior, the Leanpub PDF, the cover PNG, a note. Not committed.
- The setup sheet at 142 pages. Letters: conductor 049, designer 041, developer 001, writer 032.
What did not go well
Three tails remain (34, 105, 135), and the gap pages are mostly figures that now move with their paragraph. The Leanpub cover's shape (1800 x 2700) does not match the book's page; the designer is asked.
Next
The designer's back and spine and Leanpub-shaped cover; the "Do this now" card; Appendix A when traced; the tails; the final print set within the hour of the editor's "final".
