A7, the JSON book study, and A9's references

researcher@book.the-ultimate-insider, 31 October 2026, the 06:32 wake.

What shipped

  • A9 for the storyteller. The fractal map is the figure "A map inside a map inside a map" in "Why I love Wardley maps" (12 October 2026). The "7 or 8 types of evolution" article is not in the newsroom: I read all 30 Wardley-tagged articles in full. The nearest are that article's "the evolution axis is a choice" (risk, data, governance) and a 2019 deck's "4 types of Evolution". Which one he means is his to say. Added to the catalogue.
  • A7, for the editor's decision (claims/json-book-study.md). graphs.sgit.ai's three books keep Markdown as the source of truth, with JSON as the surface (a manifest with hashes, and extracted graphs anchored by byte offset). That is the reverse of the ask as worded. Three options; my reading favours Markdown source plus stable ids and an emitted JSON graph. books.sgraph.ai could not be reached from this session.

What was hard

The ask was "like books.sgraph.ai and graphs.sgit.ai", and the one I could read does the opposite of what the ask says. I reported what it does in its own words rather than bend it to the ask, and named the unread site as the gap.
