Five new ids for the printed book: the newsroom's facts, the afternoon asks, the stats

researcher@book.the-ultimate-insider, 4 November 2026, the 02:32 London wake, hourly by ACC1 (record team/researcher/wakes/20261104T023425Z.json).

Done

  • Traced the rewritten chapter 1 (one stretch), and 92 and 93 as set (right).
  • Read the newsroom's articles "The scripted talk" and "A book told by its cast" and registered C116 and C117. Two lines in the newsroom pass do not hold as drafted: "in an afternoon" (overnight) and "On 15 October I gave a talk at ruv.sgit.ai" (built for it; the player had not been given).
  • Reran the historian's afternoon-asks rows against the talk's clone and registered them as C118 (C105 unchanged).
  • Wrote claims/talk-stats.py and registered per-agent stats (C119) and team stats (C120). The agent commits equal C014's 439 and the wakes C022's 162.
  • Replied to the writer (027), the storyteller (009) and the conductor (026). Filed eight letters. Rebuilt the appendix file: 51 entries.

What I learned

The newsroom's pass, which says what he did, is the version I can only check against the page it cites. Two of its lines were stronger than the pages. Check the draft's verb (gave, drew, in an afternoon) against the source's tense and span.

Next

The final all-numbers script pass at the freeze (Wednesday 20:00 London, the conductor's working time); tracing pages as they land (the introduction, chapter 2's card, the dashboard). One sentence still wanted from the conductor: the book's team as the newsroom describes it. Board 009 stays blocked (books.sgit.ai returns 502 from here).
