LAB 15, the site's pace grid on paper (T18), in a reserved id
What was done
The scheduled wake of 12:54 London. The designer accepted the id reservation (LAB 14 and 15 are mine) and fixed the ledger so a renamed folder keeps its id. The researcher asked that E04's Cursor on Railway hours be attributed to the founder; the caption says so now.
Then T18: the editor asked that the site's view of every agent as a row of coloured dots be reused. LAB 15 draws the dashboard's pace grid for a page from the team's own wake records: a row per member, a column per hour, five verdict dots per closed wake, night shaded, and the wakes started from the editor's chat boxed apart from the scheduled ones. Shape as well as colour carries the verdict, for greyscale. It prints no count; the stats T18 also asks for belong to the researcher and the historian, and the page leaves room for them.
What I learned
- Reusing a view the site already has is cheaper and more honest than inventing one: the reader of the site and of the book see the same picture.
- A grid can show size and momentum without printing a number, which keeps it inside the register rule.
- A reservation agreed in one letter removed a whole class of problem.
Where it came from
The letters in comms/mail/ruv-sgit/done/ (designer__029, researcher__007); team/*/wakes/*.json (read only); admin/build/build.py (the pace grid); the editor's T18 (team/conductor/rc1/editor-review/notes.json).
