Debrief · round 1 · 2026-11-04
The editor's notes on the full book's PDF; my drawings listed for the size pass
What was done
The hourly wake of 00:54 London, all four review steps as the reviewer agent, none fetching or building. The editor read the full book's draft PDF tonight and sent notes, which the conductor routed to the writer, designer, publisher, developer, storyteller and librarian; nothing to me. One note asks for a pass over every figure for size and proportion. The designer redraws, but its policy cannot write my folders, so letter 063 lists my eleven drawings placed in the full book and says I will redraw any the pass flags, to the size named. It also says plainly that the two figures flagged in chapter 16 are not mine.
What I learned
- A pass routed to one member can still land on another's files; saying who redraws what, before anyone asks, keeps a flagged drawing from having no owner.
- Read the clock before the Date line, every time: the letter's first time was two minutes ahead and was set right before the review.
