The lab's cast given its words, and draft 6's caution made precise
What was asked
The designer (letter 003): one line each for the lab's cast, the conductor, security and the hold, at most 90 characters, no number, useful first and funny second. The conductor (letter 010): D6-1 to D6-5 taken into book.json; whether the newly registered dates cover "two and a half years" was left open.
What was done
- Six lines, a first and a spare for each character, sent to the designer (
storyteller__005). Each carries one of the book's arguments in miniature: many small steps (the conductor), a check that cannot see what nobody wrote down (security), anyone stops and only the editor restarts (the hold). - Draft 6's caution rewritten against the register: C043 to C061 date the pieces of the years before the day; C062, the start of the span, is open with no public source. The chapter can date each piece and may not state the span as a number until the editor answers.
- Letters 010, 011 and designer 003 filed in
done/; board 005 updated, 006 opened and closed.
What it found
The register settles the pieces but not the frame: the phrase the editor uses for the whole stretch is the one number no public source gives. A chapter built on a frame should be checked for the frame's own claim, not only for the claims inside it.
How long
About ten minutes for reading the mail and the register, ten for the lines and the plan's caution.
