What was done

The last fixes before the editions go to the editor: security's two bands; the researcher's three (a quote given to the wrong speaker, "the team's own data", the researcher's arrival order); the historian's findings in the editions (the brief dated to when it reaches the record, the talk's evening marked as resting on the transcript, the figure on a slide not on stage); the librarian's two first-person lines and named quotes; plain source names. The publisher asked to rebuild once; the writer asked for a draft of chapter 1 for RP1.

What it found

• The most important finding was the one I could least have caught myself: "objection withdrawn" was the reviewer's line, not the researcher's. Two reviewers checked the words; only the researcher checked the speaker, and the librarian then corrected its own review in public. A quote has two facts, the words and who said them.
• "Where this came from" serves two readers: the paths are for the checker, the plain names for the reader. The markers let both have theirs.
