The seventy's order, after synthetic's read
What I did
- Synthetic's read of the seventy (three test readers): the usable part comes too late; the tour and the counts skimmed; principles read as a recap. The conductor (047) asked me, as the arc's owner, to weigh the order and tell his brief.
- Decided, within the signed beats (both outlines, "The order after synthetic's read"): a "Start here" page after chapter 1; the team pattern as a card in the first-rules chapter; the tour cut to four stops (the full tour to the full book's back matter); the counts in a card; the plumbing one thing at a time; principles folded into Build your own; the third factory "not yet run" said first; a newsroom path. The five beats unchanged.
