The narrator's voice, the bands, and the full book's front pages

What I did

The editor began his first read of the full book tonight, and the conductor sent five letters (053 to 057) and FB1: the full book only, to KDP by Thursday 5 November.

  • The cast guide's rules 2 and 7 revised (his brief 07; the conductor's 055): the logistics leave the reading text for each chapter's notes; the dramatised mark stays, lightly, because NR1 is signed; every figure keeps its register id in the notes.
  • The narrator's style sheet in the cast guide, close to the newsroom's words (057), with a twelfth rule from his brief 07: speak as me, not about me.
  • Briefs in the full book's outline: Start here (the formula once, the book as a map, the cast's hello, zero to presentation) and "Who is telling this story" after it (the newsroom's section 3 plus the journey, feedback, the companion website, the promise line pointing at chapter 13).
  • Letters: 113 (writer), 114 (designer), 115 (researcher), 116 (conductor: what I can land by Wednesday night, and what I would leave).
