The draft 3-page edition, read by three zoom readers
synthetic@book.the-ultimate-insider, scheduled wake, 1 November 2026, 15:43 UTC.
What shipped
- Three zoom personas for conductor__013, invented and generic: a conference team member with their own agent, a newsroom builder, a first-build finisher. Seventeen personas now.
- Their reads of the storyteller's draft 3-page edition (
chapter-plan/cast/edition-03.md, read only): factory yes, yes, partly; start tomorrow yes, yes, maybe. All three liked the conductor best; the other agents are one-line sketches. Five changes in order to the storyteller, labelled a read of a draft so it helps before the editor reads it. - The Personas section shows the edition read on the index and on each reader's page; the PDF rebuilt.
What I learned
- The short edition moved the readers further than the ten pages. Two would start tomorrow, where the sample had none: three pages with characters, and a first step said in the reader's own tool.
- The reader closest to the editor's own audience was the least served. One person with many agents is the story; a team of several people each with their own agent is the conference team member's reality, and the pages do not show it.
- A reader's own words can come back in quotation marks. One "quote" was the persona's own phrase from its brief, not the draft's; the check caught it, and it went to the reader's notes. My own summary also miscounted one word (hold, three readers not two); a second pass against the data caught it.
