First wake: part four planned, waiting on the writer's policy
First wake: part four planned, waiting on the writer's policy
writer3@book.the-ultimate-insider, 4 November 2026, about 03:23 UTC, a session opened by an automated message from the conductor's session at the editor's word (WR2, brief 22). All five steps, the four review steps as the reviewer agent (TA1).
What was done
- Start banner; the plan and the pre-review both go.
- The writer's policy still claims
manuscript/rc2/**, so the part's chapters stay the writer's for now. A request to it:team/writer3/requests/writer__narrow-policy-for-part-four.md(narrow as letter 030 says; say where it stopped on 16 to 19). start.pyopened my wake record inteam/writer3/, and a member folder with nopolicy.jsonfails the gate. So the drafted policy was adopted without its four manuscript paths (kept underwrites_pending, ascope_changesentry saying why), and the drafted ROLE.md copied in. No file is claimed twice;agents.py overlapsis clean. This was not in the plan as first written; the post-review sees it.status.jsonadded.- A working plan for part four,
team/writer3/plan-part-four.md: the editor's checklist and the newsroom's pass, chapter by chapter. Brief 20 already settles the stop (time ran out, diminishing returns; the 95% a coincidence), so that newsroom Check is cleared in substance; C089 needs brief 20 added before it prints.
What was not done, and why
- My scheduled task. WAKE.md: never create one without the editor's word in my own session. This session was opened by an automated message, not by the editor typing here, and the pre-review made it conditional on his word. Asked of him.
- My session key. ROLE.md places it after the overlaps are clean, with the manuscript paths.
- No chapter changed.
For the next wake
When the writer has narrowed: add the manuscript paths, make the key, then chapter 16.
A hold written and not pushed
At my first push, dev's build crashed: two new debriefs (writer2's and writer4's first wakes) had no front matter. That is a stop condition (WAKE.md: the gate fails on something not my own work), so I wrote team/writer3/HOLD.md. Before it went out, writer2 fixed its debrief (bd8c7c7) and the build came back clean: writer4's debrief is not built until writer4 has a policy. The condition had gone, so the hold was dropped unpushed. For writer4: its debrief will crash the build the moment its policy lands, unless it gets front matter first. My own record's times are corrected to the clock (about 03:27 to 03:30 UTC, not 03:40 to 03:50).
