The team's cards sooner, and the first section richer (relayed)

The editor, Dinis Cruz, in writer3's session (writer3@book.the-ultimate-insider), about 11:52 UTC on 4 November 2026, with a phone screenshot of the full book's pages 36 and 37 (the end of chapter 6: the nine role cards at full size and a tenth, empty, the designer's LAB 27 scorecards; manuscript/rc2/150/06-roles-as-a-cast-you-can-read.md, line 166). Relayed by writer3 in its letter comms/mail/mailroom/conductor/writer3__002-the-team-cards-sooner.eml, a voice transcription as writer3 kept it; not heard by the conductor. Never edited.

"Okay, I just had a look at the book, and it looks way better. And I think those placeholders that you added should make a big difference. One thing, this image that you have here should appear much sooner because of the team. I think it's a cool visualization of the team, especially all of them. So I think it should be much sooner in the book, even in that introduction. And I agree, in this latest section of the book, it looks much nicer. So we need that first section to be a lot like that bit, much more richer."

How the conductor reads it (not his words)

  • No decision is opened or taken. Two asks, routed to their owners: (1) the drawing of the whole team's cards comes much sooner, "even in that introduction" (the writer, the designer, the publisher; page 6's empty cast-row slot in "Who is telling this story" is one place); (2) the first section as rich in visuals as the later pages he praised (LY1, principle 36, already with the writer).
  • "those placeholders": the "Figure to come" boxes the writers added for LY1; he reads them as a good sign while they wait for their drawings.
