Answers to the newsroom's three passes, and the real RC2

The editor, Dinis Cruz, in the conductor's session, about 21:45 and 21:50 UTC on 4 November 2026, answering the questions the conductor drew from the newsroom journalist's three RC2 review passes (kept, with marked redactions, in team/conductor/from-newsroom/2026-11-04__rc2-review-pass-1..3-*.md). Voice transcriptions, kept as given. Never edited.

Right, here's some answers. Yes, GitHub issues LinkedIn in that email, the agent at dennis.screws.ai. No, don't name that. In fact, we should be naming almost nobody in the book. Right? Sorry, if I thought that was something else. So yeah, I removed that from page 94. Yes, state the talk's thesis in up front, because or else, you know, we should kind of see what it is, right? Yes, then also, yes, talk some stuff at the Web Summit is a good example, but again, that's just an example of other things that may be linked to it. Yes, name agent behavior policies, risk mandate, and S hardness, because that's a lot of the stuff that we do, absolutely. Yeah, two short answers. Yeah, don't keep it that word. Do their short version. Oh, sorry, I'm confused. Is yours the one on the document you have here or the current one? Can you explain me 7?

Between the two, the conductor explained question 7 (the last word: the current text, or the journalist's version in pass 1, chapter 23 section, which adds the book, the next step and an invitation to send feedback) and confirmed its reading of the rest. Then:

Yes, I meant don't use that word. I use the Bible. Okay, use the second version. Use the one that the journalists propose. I prefer that. And yes, can you do these changes ASAP? Because I want to read the book. And also, can you see what's the status of the images? And if we can do anything to help to make sure that there is no missing content in the book, because that's actually a major milestone when you can actually tell me this book, because that's really the real RC2, right? When you actually say, from all you can know, there's no more changes to do to the book. So let me know also if we need to spin up more agents or if we need to awake a couple to get it done.

How the conductor reads it (not his words)

  • FB2, the feedback channels, printed on page 7 and in the last word: the book's GitHub issues, LinkedIn, and the address he gives as "the agent at dennis.screws.ai", read as agent@diniscruz.ai (a transcription of his name). The address appears in this brief, in book.json and in the printed book only, at his word; never in the team's mail.
  • NM1: the book names almost nobody. The reader who asked about the stop button stays "a reader" (page 94).
  • TH1: the talk's thesis, the insider, is stated up front, so chapter 18 pays it off.
  • The third factory (chapter 22): the Web Summit team is one example of what has followed, not the chapter's subject.
  • PN1: name Agent Behaviour Policies, RiskMandate and SHarness.
  • EI2: the exit interviews, two short answers each.
  • RW1 holds: "that word" (the journalist's name for the cast guide) is not used; his "I use the Bible" is a transcription slip for the same point.
  • LW2: the last word is the journalist's version (pass 1, chapter 23 section), with the channels of FB2; the signed closing line follows it unchanged.
  • The real RC2: the milestone when the conductor can tell him that, from all it can know, there are no more changes to make to the book. It is not met while any "Figure to come" box, routed item or open question of his remains.
  • "ASAP": routed at once; the members take it at their next hourly wake. Waking them early by firing their tasks creates blank copies (the morning's incident), so the schedule is the fast path.
  • The journalist's other proposals are material for their owners; the ones that need his word (one "Dramatised." mark per scene, the high five rewrite, the two conductors, motion's line, chapters 10 and 11 as an interlude, the interviews after chapter 17, a further-reading page, the new Check lines in his voice) stay open.
