Answers to the seven open items, and page feedback in the session

The editor, Dinis Cruz, in the conductor's session, about 00:15 UTC on 5 November 2026, answering the conductor's seven open items as numbered in its message (1 the high five, 2 the two conductors' tag, 3 motion's line in chapter 1, 4 the further-reading page, 5 the newsroom's new Check lines, 6 the held-views tick-list, 7 EI3), with a screenshot of the high five and the team's tally (chapter 16, PDF page 83). Kept as given. Never edited.

1. is this about pic1, I think that looks good (as a scene) 2. option a) 3. ok, for an agent to speak on chapter 1 4. yes 5. p8 ok, p10 that is correct and I stand by that, just add a note about "apart from GenAI" (or "before GenAI" 6. can you add them all? 7. b)

also can I continue to give here specific feedback for pages as read the latest RC1?c

How the conductor reads it (not his words)

  • HF1, the high five stays as a scene, as it prints (chapter 16, with the tally card beside it): not rewritten, not cut. His word overrides the cast guide's rule 7 for this one imagined scene, which the narrator already frames as imagined.
  • TC1, the two conductors: option (a), a small "this book's" tag on this book's conductor's speaker head where both conductors appear (part five, chapter 21); no new drawing.
  • MO1, motion's line: an agent may speak in chapter 1; motion gets one line at the building change (the newsroom's pass 2, p10).
  • FR1, the further-reading page: yes, the newsroom's one-page list (pass 3, section 5) after the last word, its links checked before print.
  • CK1, the newsroom's new Check lines: p8 confirmed as proposed ("because it was late and it was good enough"); p10 confirmed and he stands by it ("As I said in the talk, Wardley maps are the best thing I have learned in the last decade"), with a note that it means apart from, or before, GenAI.
  • HV1, the held views: all of them printed: Part A (42 lines) and Part B (7 Check items) of team/conductor/requests-out/editor__held-views-00-to-09.md, moved from the %% lines into the reading text in his voice. Part C stays the researcher's (registered first).
  • EI3: option (b), each exit interview carries a third line for its failures.
  • Page feedback: yes, he gives page notes in this session as he reads the latest PDF (the RC2 full draft); the conductor records them verbatim and routes them by chapter.
