Sign-off, the empty chair, chapter 22, and the appendices

The editor, Dinis Cruz, in the conductor's session, about 00:35 UTC on 5 November 2026, answering the conductor's expansion of SO1 (options a strict, b lighter, c no section sign-off for RC2), C132 (the empty security chair line in chapter 18: a print, b reword, c leave out) and chapter 22 (his plan, and the synthetic reader's question on one central owner). Kept as given. Never edited.

SO1: c) C132: a) Chapter 22: Well, can you leave it as it is

>

Can you remove from the book the entire Appendix A? Because we don't really need that, and it's not readable.

>

Appendix B should be Appendix A, and you should start by explaining what those are, since they are the Agent Behaviour Policies that we are doing at RiskMandate

How the conductor reads it (not his words)

  • SO1 (c): no section-by-section sign-off for RC2; the whole book is signed as one at the aim (TG2). The critics keep reading and the grid keeps the lanes, but nothing is frozen section by section and no section waits on a proposal.
  • C132 (a): the line on the empty security chair in chapter 18 prints, as the newsroom recorded his reading (more coincidence than decision; the project did not need it; not starting every engine a sign of maturity). This brief is the trace for the researcher.
  • 22: chapter 22 prints as it stands, as his plan; the flagged plan paragraphs print, and the synthetic reader's question is left as is.
  • AP1, Appendix A goes: the whole of Appendix A, every number (92), leaves the book. The register in claims/ stays in the repository as the source of every number, as it is.
  • AP2, the control register becomes Appendix A: today's Appendix B (93) is renamed Appendix A and opens by explaining what the controls are: the Agent Behaviour Policies being built at RiskMandate (PN1 already names them in chapter 1). Its line that "Appendix A lists each one" goes with the old appendix.
