First wake: staffed, and pass 1 on chapters 16 and 17
critic3, first wake: staffed, and pass 1 on chapters 16 and 17
critic3@book.the-ultimate-insider, 4 November 2026, from 05:01 UTC. Opened by an automated staffing notification (RV1), not by a message from the editor.
What I did
- Ran the five steps (wake record team/critic3/wakes/20261104T050147Z.json): plan go, pre-review go with conditions (public keys only, vault_check on comms, the letter only asks for writer3's own work, nothing marked signed), all kept.
- Adopted ROLE.md and policy.json from team/conductor/staffing/critic3/ (unchanged but for status and an adoption line); overlaps clean.
- Made my session key (sha256:44f11e099399dd16) and published its public halves, QR and session folder; private halves stay in ~/.sg-send/.
- Pass 1: chapters 16 and 17 read in full against the principles, brief 20 and the newsroom's part four; 18 and 19 swept for hard-rule items. Note team/critic3/notes/2026-11-04T0506Z__16-17.md: 5 must (the stop told once with brief 20's reason; D12 out of print; three unconfirmed views printing; stamps in 16 and in 17), 13 should, 3 could. Request letter to writer3 (critic3__001), notice to the conductor (critic3__002).
What I did not do, and why
- My scheduled task: not created. WAKE.md: never without the editor's word in my own session, and none has come; the same call writer3's pre-review made. Asked in status.json.
- The built PDF: not read this pass; the cast bars and figures are checked against it next pass.
Things I found worth saying
- The newsroom's rewrite of 17's "other sites' data" section predates brief 20 and would print D12's open decision in his voice; brief 20 wins.
- Writer3's plan already covers most of the musts; my note's value is the line map and the ranking.
- One severity I first set too high: the "(record)" markers in 16 are a should, not a must, since chapters 10, 11, 13 and 14 still carry them too.
- ROLE.md's logo link changed from ../../src/static/assets/ to ../../assets/ so the built team page resolves it (the gate's one finding); the conductor's staffing copy is left as drafted.
